A face and neck lift with upper and lower blepharoplasty with our surgeon has given Lucy every reason to love online meetings.

Lucy had been thinking about the procedure on and off for a couple of years, but she was concerned about cosmetic work to her face like many women. Although she would stand in front of the mirror, pulling up her chin and cheeks to see what a facelift might look like, she always talked herself out of it by focusing on other priorities and telling herself to accept getting older.

Lucy says: “It was really helpful, without any pressure. I remember distinctly chatting with a nurse who said, ‘you will have a face to match your soul’. It resonated, and from that point on, it was a positive go, go, go from me.”

Lucy’s recovery was better than expected, with minimal bruising thanks to the team’s comprehensive post-operative advice. Even a later allergy to a specific painkiller, which no one could have known, was rectified within the hour as Mr Jallali was always reassuringly on-call.

Lucy says the mild discomfort was bearable and manageable. “Also, I knew it would take time for the swelling to return to normal, but all this had been explained. I was able to plan for this because I was fully prepared.”

Lucy’s face lift has boosted her confidence

Since the procedure, Lucy no longer feels invisible and has already recommended Mr Jallali to two friends who have booked with him.

“It is immeasurable what a difference it has made – my confidence has sky-rocketed, and I have a spring in my step and feel like I walk taller.” 

She adds: “This was for me and only me, and I can’t tell you the amount of joy and confidence it has given me. I seem to stand up straighter, smile more, and not slip under the radar and that, for me, is priceless – oh, and the fact that I love online meetings now!”
